Mission Statement

Thanks to Yanks is a non-political organization, whose focus is to

"Remember, Revere and Respect Military Men, Women and Their Families"

In doing so, tribute is paid in memory of the heroes and victims of 9/11/2001.

GOALS

Through fund raising efforts and donations Thanks to Yanks will

1) Host a Free Tribute Dinner on September 11, 2011 for

. a. those who have served or are serving in the military

b. Gold Star mothers and families

c. families who have a loved one currently serving in the military

2) Honor the memory of the heroes and victims of 9/11/2001, so that the events of that tragic day will never be forgotten.

3) Assist in connecting military families with other service organizations that support military men and women and their families

4) Support other organizations, (such as CarePacks, USOT, Adopt-a-Platoon, Homeless Shelters for Veterans), who provide services and support to military men, women, families and veterans.

5) Sponsor and promote events that will demonstrate civilian respect for the military, and their families.
