Care Package Events

Starbucks at 128 Medway Road, Milford in the Stop and Shop Plaza
Help support the troops. Starbucks at 128 Medway Road, Milford in the Stop and Shop Plaza is collecting care package items for Thanks To Yanks. Items such as ground coffee, beef jerky, healthy snacks, etc. Drop off donations in the collection box now and during the holidays.

Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 9 – 1 at the Italian American Veterans Club in Milford
A care package packing event for the deployed and making gift bags for veterans in nursing and long term care facilities. Anyone interested in helping out is welcome – we will also accept donations of items (chapstick, emery boards, combs/hair brushes, individual size kleenex, & hand lotions, current magazines, playing cards, puzzle books, beef jerky, nuts, gum, hard candy, 2 ply toilet paper). We will have a station for writing Valentines and we will accept any already written. Monetary donations to assist with mailings/delivery are also welcome.

Thank you to DCH Milford for supporting our Hope for Heroes Donation Drive. Without the support of local businesses we would not be able to all that we do.

Dale Kurtz, Veterans Agent in Franklin MA and Michael Shain, Thanks To Yanks, will distribute gift cards which will go to military families that are having financial challenges. A small way to help make the holidays a little brighter.
