We are always seeking volunteers to help us deliver our events and programs which support military members, veterans and their families. A little time and dedication can go a long way at our events.   

Thanks To Yanks is currently looking for a Volunteer Financial Officer/Treasurer to join our Board of Directors.  This position requires 2-3 hours a month, however, can expand up to 12 hours during fundraising season.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining financial records for donations and expenditures 
  • Depositing donations
  • Providing donor lists to volunteer for tax acknowledgements
  • Delivering treasurer report at quarterly Thanks To Yanks board meetings
  • Preparing annual report for tax filings by accountant 
  • Collaborating with volunteers and/or board members for fundraising events
  • Representing Thanks To Yanks as a volunteer at events

  • Solicitation of donations
  • Seek sponsorships    
  • Help buying and putting together care packages
  • Help collecting and distributing back to school and holiday supplies
  • Behind the scenes folks (mailings, centerpieces for events etc.)
