Thanks To Yanks was saddened by the death of one of our very good friends and volunteers, Christine Blethen.  If you were at our 9/11 Dinner and received a Star from a Flag, Chris may very well have been the one who made it.  She always stepped in to help with our fundraisers and events, with the most incredible smile ever.  Chris had a love for helping others, especially our veterans.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and caring, her beloved husband Robert (a marine veteran), her beautiful daughter Toni, her husband and 2 granddaughters.  The best way we can remember Chris is to keep smiling while helping others.
